COURSE ENROLLMENT MEASURES

Courses Offered are the number of courses offered at DePaul excluding Institute for Professional Development courses. Courses having more than one sequence (lecture, lab, discussion) as well as cross-listed and team taught courses are counted only once as designated by the college offices. Independent study, thesis research, internships, externships, student teaching are considered advisory courses. Those courses designated as foreign study are those offered abroad and verified by the college offices. All other courses fall within the traditional course category.

Credit Hours Offered are calculated by multiplying the number of courses offered by the corresponding credit hours for each course.

Course Hours Offered are calculated by multiplying the credit hours of a course by the course enrollment. the enrollment per course by the corresponding credit hours for the course.

Traditional Courses Offered by Level provides the number of traditional courses offered

Average Enrollment per Traditional Course represents the average number of students per class. It is calculated by dividing total enrollment by the total courses offered. Figures are provided for UG Day, UG Evening, Graduate and Law
