Frequently Asked Questions:

How much financial aid do DePaul students receive? How much do they receive from the government versus DePaul?
OIPR prepares several financial aid reports each year. You can find information about the source of these awards in the Financial Aid Profile. This report also provides this information by level, and across several demographic variables.

Other financial aid reports include the Financial Aid Pipeline and Tuition Discounting Study. The Pipeline study tracks the flow of institutional aid dollars as they are awarded to new and continuing students. The Discounting report analyzes institutional aid in light of its affects on net tuition revenue.

Section 6 of the Fact File provides information on the source of financial aid by student level over 5 years. Also available are estimates of financial aid for first-time, full-time undergraduates in Section H of the Common Data Set. This section provides a breakdown of awarded aid by source and student need. It also details the process followed for awarding student aid at DePaul.
